Junebug Volunteers Needed!
Community members who have a few hours to spare are asked to consider volunteering to help visitors find their way around the ArtFest. No artistic talent is required – just enthusiasm for supporting the arts in Metuchen.
The following volunteer shifts are available:
June 5, 12, 19 and 26 - three shifts are available:
5:30-6 p.m. – To help artists unload and “man” the meters
5:45-7:45 p.m. – To provide information about Junebug activities to visitors and generally help monitor events
7:30-9:30 p.m. – To provide information about Junebug activities to visitors and generally help monitor events
In addition to these hosts, volunteers are needed to help with the chalk walk which is held in front of Borough Hall and is scheduled during the first shift of the evening.
Volunteers will receive a free, brightly colored T-shirt to wear to make it easy for visitors to spot them in order to ask questions and receive programs.
